 January is the beginning of an important phase in your child’s development. I want to do everything possible to make it a positive experience!! This month there will be many opportunities to attend school activities and celebrations. Your support of school activities makes your child feel important and sends the message that you value school!

Catholic Schools Week Reminders

“Catholic Schools: Faith, Academics, Service”

Monday, January 30th-Nature Days “Everything Green” Students will wear jeans, sneakers and top with earth colors. 10:00-11:00- Assembly for all grades.  Afternoon- Drop everything and read in class.

Tuesday, January 31st-Spirit Day -Students will wear gym uniforms.  9:30-11:00-Pep Rally for all grades. 1:30-2:30 Eighth graders teaching classes.

Wednesday, February 1st-Family Day-Vibrant Cultures, Vibrant School.  Students will wear jeans, sneakers, to or dress of their culture.  9:00-10:30 grades PK to $ Donuts with Daddy & Grades 5 to 8- Breakfast with Dad.                                                                                               Afternoon- Cultural activities in the classroom.

Thursday, February 2nd- Academic Day                                             Students will wear brown Academy uniforms. 9:30-11:00- Vocation talks and academic games in classroom. 1:30-2:30 Eighth Grade Ring Ceremony Grades K to 7 will attend.

Friday, February 3rd-Religion Students wear their Sunday BEST! 9:00-11:00 Assembly in gym- all grades. Singing religius songs and reciting poems.  Ballet children will also perform as well as our Cheerleaders.  Half a day of school  12:00 Dismissal. NO AFTER CARE.               12:30 Teacher Appreciation Luncheon

Saturday, February 4th- Future; Loooking Towards the Future.  3:00-5:00- Open House  -Grades 4, 5, and 6 asked to provide deserts. Please send desserts in on Friday, February 3rd.    5:00 Catholic Schools Week Closing Mass
