Happy New Year. Let's make this year a joyful one. Remember students need to study and make sure all assignments are completed and on time. Students should always be studying even if there is no written work to be completed for that night. Students should always be on time and ready to learn.


For my zoom students, make sure to be ready for class at 8:45 am. Try not to be late. Make sure you focus and if you have questions please ask.

Second Trimester has begun.  Please make sure your child keeps up with their studies. 

January 18, 2021 is MLK Day. There will be no school.

Progress Reports will take place on Thursday, January 21, 2021.
Times will be sent during the week.

Catholic Schools Week will take place January 31-February 6. List Activities and more information will follow.
 

Math

7th Grade: Our next chapter will be Chapter 5: Rational Numbers: Fractions. Every Thursday, the students will work on Chapter 10 Two-Dimensional Geometry. Students will be quizzed every Friday on the lessons covered that week. At the end of the chapter there will be a chapter test.

 

8th Grade: Our next chapter will be Chapter 4 Inequalit. Every Thursday, the students will be covering Chapter 12 Geometry. Every Friday there will be a quiz that covers that week of lessons. At the end of each chapter there will be a chapter test.                                                                                             

 

Social Studeies

7th Grade:  We are covering Chapter 8 Civics Overview: The Constitution at Work (1789-Present). Students will have projects to complete. When the chapter is completed, the students will have a chapter test.



8th Grade: We are covering Chapter 27 The World War 2 Era (1935-1945).Students will have projects to complete. When the chapter is completed, the students will have a chapter test.
